Description:
Participants in this PLC will engage with Boston College leadership faculty and guests to support one another navigating the current crisis, addressing key questions:
-
How must we rethink and adapt our educational vision and instructional approach given this situation?
-
How can we redesign support structures and roles to ensure different stakeholders, including students, families and teachers have what they need?
-
How do we develop strategic communication channels to foster community amidst remote learning?
-
How do we adapt school and district policies to meet new, unanticipated demands?
-
What kinds of equity issues have emerged or been made visible through this crisis?
We will focus on proactive planning for reopening in the Fall by:
-
Discussing ongoing dilemmas raised by the crisis

Collaborating with peers on ‘reopening action plans’ for one another’s contexts
